In this fun and flavorful experience, you'll learn to prepare a variety of traditional small plates using fresh, seasonal ingredients. From classics like pan con tomate and tortilla española to crowd-pleasers like jamón croquetas, you’ll explore the rich diversity of Spanish tapas. Whether you're cooking solo or with friends, it's the perfect way to enjoy great food, connect with others, and take home skills (and recipes!) to recreate the magic anytime.

In this 3-4 hour Barcelona cooking class, learn to make traditional paella from scratch as Chef Nicole guides you step-by-step. You'll master making sofrito, preparing stock, cooking rice and prepping the protein, all before enjoying the meal you’ve helped create. Hosted on Nicole's rooftop terrace in the neighborhood of Sants Badal, this experience offers insights into the history and techniques behind Spanish cuisine. You’ll start the class with some pica-pica (snacks), a seafood, Valencian or Mixta (seafood and meat) paella, and finish with a classic Catalan dessert like Crema Catalana.

Meet Chef Nicole at her apartment and take a 15-minute walk to Mercat de Sants for a guided market tour, offering an authentic experience of a typical neighborhood market. This covered market features everything from seafood and olives to meat, grains, and fresh produce. Nicole will introduce you to the seasonal, local ingredients she uses in her cooking, show you her favorite vendors, and let you purchase a few items before heading back to her penthouse terrace for your cooking class and meal experience. When booking, you can choose which dish you'd like to learn and prepare with your group, Paella or Fideua.
Please note that this class takes around 5 hours and market tours are not available on Weekends, Mondays, or evenings.

Similar to paella but made with noodles instead of rice, fideuà is a deliciously unique dish that you’ll master from scratch with Chef Nicole’s step-by-step guidance. You’ll master making sofrito, preparing stock, toasting noodles and preparing the seafood and shellfish, all before enjoying the meal you’ve created. Hosted on Nicole's rooftop terrace in the vibrant Sants Badal neighborhood, this hands-on experience offers a deep dive into the history and techniques behind the other beloved dish. Along the way, you’ll start the class with some pica-pica (snacks), fideuà and finish with a delicious dessert like Crema Catalana.
